With the end of the Ski Season Japan and the ramp up of Summer activities I decided to give White Water Rafting a try while the snow is melting and the water is running fast enough to give more than the average adrenalin rush. Con la fine della stagione sciistica il Giappone e la rampa di attività estive ho deciso di dare Rafting un tentativo, mentre la neve si scioglie e l'acqua è veloce abbastanza per dare più la corsa media adrenalina.

The location of choice was the Tone River in Minakami about 2 hours north of Tokyo. La posizione di scelta è stato il fiume Tone Minakami in circa 2 ore a nord di Tokyo. I decided to head up the night before as the train planning system told me it was a 3+ hour train ride to get to Minakami station… Ho deciso di testa la sera prima, come il sistema di pianificazione del treno mi ha detto che era un + 3 ore di treno per arrivare alla stazione Minakami ...

White Water Rafting in Manakimi(水上) is definitely a highly recommended activity… Local advice was to do it before July for maximum fun so I will be going back in June to do Canyoning and White Water Rafting again… For safety reasons I wasn't able to use my White Water Rafting in Manakimi (水上) è sicuramente una attività altamente consigliato ... consigli locali è stata di farlo prima di luglio per il massimo del divertimento quindi tornerà nel mese di giugno per fare Canyoning e Rafting di nuovo ... I'm not that hard to pick in the photos, the only foreigner and I also happened to muscle into front position of the boat. Io non sono che difficile scegliere nella foto, l'unico straniero e mi è capitato anche al muscolo in posizione anteriore della barca.

I chose the fastest river run for maximum enjoyment which meant only 4 braves in the raft at the beginning and then we joined up with the other rafts about 20 minutes down the river and traveled for about another 40 minutes through various rapids and rocks… It all culminated in an optional 4 meter Rock dive that the tour guides were quick to point out was not covered by insurance,  everyone did it and nobody got injured. Ho scelto il fiume più veloce per eseguire il massimo del divertimento che significava solo 4 Braves in zattera all'inizio e poi ci siamo uniti con le zattere di altri circa 20 minuti lungo il fiume e viaggiato per circa altri 40 minuti attraverso varie rapide e rocce ... Tutto è culminata in un optional 4 immersioni metro Rock che le guide turistiche si sono affrettati a sottolineare non è stato coperto da assicurazione, tutti lo facevano e nessuno è stato ferito.

After the White Water Rafting there was a BBQ and a few beers to unwind and share the experience with the other people… Dopo il Rafting c'era un barbecue e un paio di birre per rilassarsi e condividere l'esperienza con le altre persone ...

Finally my ride home… Infine il mio passaggio a casa ...
