I don’t know who took the original photo so I cannot give credit where it’s due. To take a photo like this would have to be the luckiest use of the shutter button which leads me to believe it maybe a single frame from a video recording, or the end result of some very skillful Photoshop manipulation. Either way, it sure is a stunning photo

The picture of the tornado and lightning strike is apparently a real one of events that occurred over Lake Okeechobee and was taken at about 10 PM on June 15, 1991.

This Photo is the real thing. I am from Okeechobee and my boss knows Mr.Smith and has talked to him about it. That is a funnel over the lake is why it looks different. Smith said he was lucky is all he seen the funnel and walked inside to get his camera and snapped the pic then once he got it developed he seen the lightning. He didnt even know it was in it cause it happen so fast. Believe it.
