The O G-Cans project Projeto G-Cans is Tokyo's way of dealing with the amount of water from the heavy rains during Typhoon and Rainy seasons. Tóquio é a maneira de lidar com a quantidade de água das chuvas durante o tufão e chuvosa. I marvel at the great photos and enormity of the project every time I see it on the web.. Fico maravilhado com as fotos grandes e grandiosidade do projeto toda vez que eu vejo ele na web .. and keeping in mind the buildings above the massive hole in the ground.. e tendo em mente as construções acima do buraco no chão .. damn impressive engineering feat. damn façanha de engenharia impressionante.

I was completely unaware that there was any place in Tokyo with that much space. Eu desconhecia completamente a existência de qualquer lugar em Tóquio, com que muito espaço. It's a shame they can't rent it out during the dry season, it would make for a nice, spacious summer home or, if concrete walls aren't your thing, a storage facility. É uma vergonha que não podem alugá-la durante a estação seca, seria para fazer um agradável, espaçosa casa de veraneio ou, se paredes de concreto não são sua coisa, uma instalação de armazenamento.

It would be a very impressive site full of water, I would like to see the water gushing in to fill it.. Seria um local muito impressionante cheio de água, eu gostaria de ver a água jorrando para preenchê-lo .. it's hard to imagine the enormity of the reservoir.. é difícil imaginar a enormidade do reservatório .. I will definitely visit this place next summer. Definitivamente vou visitar este lugar no próximo verão.

The system is massive! O sistema é enorme! It's powered by 14,000 horsepower turbines which can pump 200 tons of water a second into the Edogawa river !! É alimentado por turbinas de 14.000 cavalos de potência que pode bombear 200 mil toneladas de água por segundo no rio Edogawa!
