I took this photo last summer in Okinawa, As you can see behind the Glass there a couple of snakes used in the production of Habushu. Eu tirei essa foto no verão passado, em Okinawa, Como você pode ver por trás do vidro há um casal de cobras utilizadas na produção de Habushu.
Habushu: ハブ酒 Habu(ハブ) is the name of the Snake and Shu/Sake(酒) is Japanese for alcohol. Habushu:ハブ酒Habu (ハブ) é o nome da serpente e Shu / Saquê (酒) é japonês para o álcool. This particular poison is over 40% alcohol, which is the minimum % required so the snakes poison remains safe for consumption. Este veneno está acima de 40% de álcool, que é o mínimo necessário que as cobras% veneno permanece segura para consumo.
I have my own bottle that cost about ￥１２０００、and is refillable as long as you keep the alcohol content above 40%, and above the level of the snake. It tastes pretty good, as you can imagine strong alcohol taste. É muito bom gosto, como você pode imaginar um forte sabor álcool. Only drunk in small amounts, maybe 2-3 shots is enough for most. Só bêbado em pequenas quantidades, talvez 2-3 é suficiente para a maioria dos disparos.

did you ever see a habashu and mongoose fight, I was on Okinawa in the 60's and I saw it one time. Você sempre vê uma habashu e mangusto luta, eu estive em Okinawa na década de 60 e eu o vi uma vez.

Wow, that's very interesting! Uau, isso é muito interessante! We're not sure we'd want to try drinking anything with snake venom in it, though. At least those serpentine little beasties are dead – last snakes I saw behind glass were Tiapans and they were angry little buggers. Pelo menos aqueles serpiginosos pouco beasties estão mortos - última cobras Vi atrás vidro foram Tiapans e estavam zangados pouco buggers. The snake catcher who was showing them let the eastern browns and the carpet snakes out for a wander, but not the taipans – they're nasty little critters. O apanhador cobra que estava mostrando-lhes deixar o tapete oriental castanhos e as serpentes para fora para um vaguear, mas não o taipans - they're desagradável pouco critters.
