This weeks Diese Woche Photo Hunt Photo Hunt theme is Glass . Thema ist Glas. I took this photo last summer in Okinawa, As you can see behind the Glass there a couple of snakes used in the production of Habushu. Ich habe dieses Foto im letzten Sommer in Okinawa, Wie Sie sehen können, hinter dem Glas gibt ein paar Schlangen, die bei der Herstellung von Habushu.
Habushu: ハブ酒 Habu(ハブ) is the name of the Snake and Shu/Sake(酒) is Japanese for alcohol. Habushu:ハブ酒Habu (ハブ) ist der Name des Snake und Shu / Sake (酒) ist Japanisch für Alkohol. This particular poison is over 40% alcohol, which is the minimum % required so the snakes poison remains safe for consumption. Diese besondere Gift ist mehr als 40% Alkohol, das ist das Minimum% erforderlich, so dass die Schlangen Gift bleibt sicher für den menschlichen Verzehr.
I have my own bottle that cost about ￥１２０００、and is refillable as long as you keep the alcohol content above 40%, and above the level of the snake. Ich habe meine eigene Flasche, die kosten über ￥ 12000, und ist nachfüllbar, solange Sie den Alkoholgehalt über 40%, und über dem Niveau der Schlange.

It’s the first time that I heard about this Habushu beverage. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich hörte zu diesem Habushu Getränk. Doesn’t seem good… Scheint nicht gut ...
It tastes pretty good, as you can imagine strong alcohol taste. Es schmeckt recht gut, wie Sie sich vorstellen können starke Alkohol Geschmack. Only drunk in small amounts, maybe 2-3 shots is enough for most. Nur betrunken in kleinen Mengen, vielleicht 2-3 Aufnahmen ist genug für die meisten.

did you ever see a habashu and mongoose fight, I was on Okinawa in the 60’s and I saw it one time. Haben Sie jemals eine habashu und Mungo Kampf, ich war auf Okinawa in den 60er Jahren, und ich sah es ein Zeit.

yep, snake in the bottle. yep, Schlange in der Flasche. but of course it’s dead. aber natürlich ist es tot ist. Kind of like pickled snake. Art wie gebeiztes Schlange.
At least those serpentine little beasties are dead - last snakes I saw behind glass were Tiapans and they were angry little buggers. Zumindest die Serpentine wenig Beasties sind tot - Zuletzt Schlangen Ich sah, wie hinter Glas wurden Tiapans und sie waren wütend wenig buggers. The snake catcher who was showing them let the eastern browns and the carpet snakes out for a wander, but not the taipans - they’re nasty little critters. Die Schlange Catcher, die zeigte sie lassen den östlichen Browns und den Teppich Schlangen für einen wandern, aber nicht die taipans - sie sind böse wenig critters.
