This weeks Cette semaine Photo Hunt Photo Hunt theme is unique and funny signs. thème est unique et drôle signes. I get to see the following sign everyday at my office and I always get a laugh. J'ai l'occasion de voir le signe de tous les jours à mon bureau et je suis toujours un éclat de rire. It's on the back of a door that should remain closed at all times, however this is another example of lost in translation…. C'est sur le dos d'une porte qui doit rester fermé à tout moment, mais cela est un autre exemple de lost in translation ....
The Japanese is “kaihou genkin” which does translate to “open prohibited” but going for prohibition is a little extreme, although I can understand the strong words when there are so many moochers in our office targeting the free coffee. Le Japonais est "Kaihou Genkin" qui ne traduisent en "open interdit", mais va de l'interdiction est un peu extrême, mais je peux comprendre les paroles quand il ya tant de moochers dans notre bureau le ciblage de café gratuit.

That's a funny sign. C'est un drôle de signe. I live in Hawaii and we see a lot of mis-translated Japanese and it just cracks me up. I live in Hawaii, et nous voyons beaucoup de mal traduit le japonais et il me vient des fissures.

Their English is a lot better than my Japanese! Leur anglais est beaucoup mieux que mon japonais!

Translations are often funny. Les traductions sont souvent drôles. See, nobody dare correct them coz they give us a few laughs. Voir, personne n'ose les corriger coz ils nous donnent quelques rires.
