This weeks Photo Hunt Topic is “Skinny”Photo Hunt Skinny

This photo of the two “Skinny” palm trees was taken across the street of the 4,000 acre, magnificent Kualoa horse ranch on the Island of Oahu(Hawaii). The ranch has been the site of many movies including “Jerrasic Park”, “King Kong” and the series “Lost”.

The mountain range is really spectacular with the beaches only getting better.

The ranch is located on the north shore of Oahu and is very peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki.

One thing I would also like to point out is that in Japanese Oahu is pronounced “o-af” and is spelt オアフ very confusing at first….

I have placed the original full resolution photos on my .Mac site if you are interested. Either select the photo or this link to access the full resolution photo.

Oh such a beautiful photo!!! Nothing can beat palm trees…there’s just something about them —the romance of it all I think.

My skinny photo is published now, would you care to visit with me? I’d love to have you drop by!!
