As you can see in the photo, not only is Japanese Sake, 酒, “Heavy Liqueur”, but it is also heavy to transport in it’s traditional barrels. I took this photo last year on a trip to Hokkaido during Golden Week, the equivalent of the traditional Christmas Holiday in Australia. I saw many similar heavy loads when I visited India (though not alcoholic) and did not even think of them when I looked for my heavy picture for this week.
