A recent post Um recente post one of the um dos blogs blogs I read regularly inspired this post today. Eu leio regularmente inspirou este post de hoje. As pointed out in the post you could not be blamed for thinking that there are no Dentists in Japan, however I can assure you they are alive and well. Como foi salientado no post que você não poderia ser culpado por pensar que não há dentistas no Japão, mas posso garantir-vos que eles estão vivos e bem.

I have spent countless hours in the Dental chair over the last year having amalgam fillings replaced with white fillings and more recently started the long haul of Orthodontic Braces. Eu passei inúmeras horas na cadeira do consultório durante o ano passado com restaurações de amálgama substituídas com recheios brancos e, mais recentemente, começaram a longa jornada de Ortodontia Braces.

Unfortunately you see a lot of people who believe that a $2000 handbag or a $4000 SLR Camera is apparently more important than good looking teeth, or even worse, actually having a full set of teeth. Infelizmente, você vê um monte de pessoas que acreditam que uma bolsa de 2.000 dólares ou 4.000 dólares SLR é aparentemente mais importante do que a boa aparência dos dentes, ou ainda pior, tendo realmente um jogo cheio de dentes.

To be fair I will say that 95% of the female teeth that I have seen are well cleaned and generally a good shade of white just not aligned as you would hope, however the guys in Japan are a very different story. Para ser justo, direi que 95% dos dentes femininas que tenho visto são bem limpos e, em geral um bom tom de branco só não alinhados como você poderia esperar, no entanto os caras no Japão é uma história muito diferente.

The following picture is very representative of many  a Japanese guys smiles, and a drinking friend of mine has a smile very similar to this next photo just not as many teeth….. A imagem seguinte é muito representativo de muitos sorrisos japonês caras, e um amigo meu tem de beber um sorriso muito semelhante a esta foto ao lado não apenas como muitos dentes ... ..

While I don't know the reasons for the apparent lack of Dental care , and I am sure there are many, what I do know is up until the Meji Period what were considered beautiful teeth would make make you run for cover in modern times. Enquanto eu não sei as razões para a aparente falta de Odontologia, e estou certo que existem muitas, o que eu sei é até o período Meji que eram considerados belos dentes faria fazer você correr para se esconder nos tempos modernos.
