Today I start my Japanaese skill with the rest of the world. I will post Japanese words of the week, not your boring “Berlitz” style buisness words, but interesting and Japanese secret style words. I will keep it clean but I think the native Japanese speakers will also get a kick out of these.

First Word— “nanio osharu o-sagisan”

English “Are you trying to make fun of me” usually in responce to sombody praising you for doing something well, i.e. you use those chopstcks well!

Japanese “nanio osharu o-sagisan” kind of translates to “What are you talking about my white rabbit”..

and while were on the the topic, ask your nearest Japanese friend how to count rabbits, ends up a very funny conversation as most dont know……they are counted the same as birds..now that is your home work..
