As a co-owner of the Million Euro Wiki I was happy to see some pages sales just recently. I had also been in email contact with Steve McGrath regarding some valid concerns he had regarding the Million Euro Wiki concept and the apparent lack of activity. In addition to the recent page sales, Steve being one of the purchasers, he has also written a good summary of how Million Euro Wiki came to life and how it will continue. One of Steve’s suggestions has prompted us to drop the paid for spot on the front page and offer advertising spot as a reward for anybody who blogs about the Million Euro Wiki. Please read the full story here and head over to the MEW and use the coupon code McGrathDotCA to secure a page of your own.

So how are you guys feeling about the MDW sale? Any spill over effect for the MEW or can you somehow play off this?
Hi Mariam, any publicity is good publicity. I think the comments from the auction paint a balanced picture. I’m not sure how many really know the MDW is up for sale, but it looks like it’s valued at somewhere between $10,000 and $40,000 dollars. As you can see it has already had a positive influence on MDW and Million Euro Wiki.
We will definitely keep a close eye on it and if you write a post about Million Euro Wiki you will get your turn as featured on the Million Euro Wiki front page like Steve McGrath.
A steady increase in traffic at the MEW, things are on the up and up.
Are the sales still coming in? It looks like Million Dollar Wiki has lost it’s flavor …
