Well finally we have a release date for the latest installment of the Mac OX X Leopard operating system. October 26th is the date, as I live in Japan I don’t know how that will affect my purchase date but I really want to get my hands on it ASAP. Why? no reason other than I love getting my hands on the latest an greatest gadgets to mess around with. From the images and write-up’s it looks like a pretty cool upgrade with around 300 enhancements. And of course making the already sexy interface even sexier.

One question I do have for all the MAC heads out there is the upgrade strategy, do I just install over the top or should I save my data, format and start from a clean hard drive?

I know from my Windows experience that a format was in order to get the best system possible. Well if anybody has some good advice I would really appreciate it.

You will see that I have placed a few images to give you all an idea of what the UI will look like on the Mac and maybe even convert a few more Windows Users to the wonderful world of MAC OS X… trust me, you will love it!

All I need now is to get a copy of OS2 Warp, Ubunto, Windows Vista Ultimate running under Parallels and I would be a happy camper, the ultimate OS platform. I may even consider putting OS X Leopard on my Sony Vaio UX UMPC, now that would be cool. oh and of course a shiny new iPod Touch is definitely on the shopping list, but I couldn’t buy OS X Leopard and the iPod Touch on the same day otherwise I wouldn’t be able to decide which one I should mess around with first.
