After coveting the Mac Air since it’s release, and still trying to justify why it’s no good (i.e. not enough USB ports, no internal optical drive, no FireWire port etc…etc…) none of which I use regularly anyway, guess it’s still my denial gland doing it’s job, I was happy and sad to see the patent for the latest Apple for the Mac Air.
This latest gadget filed with the US patent department is a Docking Station for an Ultra Slim MacBook (read Mac Air). Basically it looks like a full blown iMac Desktop Computer, with all the missing ports and accessories and a full size screen, in which the Mac Air would slide into.
Below are some Artists impressions of Apples Docking Station. You really have to hand it to Apple for building some of the sexiest devices around.
Unfortunately all the owners of current generation MacBook’s and MacBook Pro’s seem to be out of luck, or in luck if you are contemplating purchasing one of the sleekest sexiest notebooks around.
