A couple of weeks ago I traveled down to Matsue for the 2009 Horanenya festival. Il ya quelques semaines je me suis rendue à Matsue de 2009 Horanenya festival. The Horanenya festival is one of three famous boat festivals in Japan. Horanenya Le festival est l'un des trois célèbres festivals bateau au Japon. It is held only once every twelve years so I took advantage of this time… Il a lieu une seule fois tous les douze ans et je profite de ce temps ...

The story is that the spirit of a “Kitsune” fox god is transported between two shrines by boat and Kabuki actors dance while the rowers chant “Horanenya!” (a plea to the gods for a good harvest). L'histoire est celle de l'esprit d'un "Kitsune" dieu renard est transporté entre deux lieux saints par bateau et par les acteurs de Kabuki de danse tandis que le chant des rameurs "Horanenya!" (Un appel aux dieux pour une bonne récolte).

If you missed it don't worry you can catch it again in the year 2021… Si vous avez raté, il ne vous inquiétez pas, vous pouvez l'attraper de nouveau en l'an 2021 ...
