A couple of weeks ago I traveled down to Matsue for the 2009 Horanenya festival. Ein paar Wochen fuhr ich bis 2009 für das Festival Horanenya Matsue. The story is that the spirit of a “Kitsune” fox god is transported between two shrines by boat and Kabuki actors dance while the rowers chant “Horanenya!” (a plea to the gods for a good harvest). Die Geschichte ist, dass der Geist eines "Kitsune" Fuchs Gott zwischen zwei Schreine ist mit dem Boot und Kabuki-Schauspieler Tanz befördert, während die Ruderer chant "Horanenya!"
