A couple of weeks ago I traveled down to Matsue for the 2009 Horanenya festival. وقبل بضعة أسابيع سافرت إلى أسفل إلى ماتسويه لعام 2009 Horanenya المهرجان. The Horanenya festival is one of three famous boat festivals in Japan. Horanenya المهرجان هو واحد من ثلاثة مهرجانات القوارب الشهيرة في اليابان. It is held only once every twelve years so I took advantage of this time… فمن لم تعقد سوى مرة واحدة كل اثني عشر عاما لذلك أنا استغل هذا الوقت...

The story is that the spirit of a “Kitsune” fox god is transported between two shrines by boat and Kabuki actors dance while the rowers chant “Horanenya!” (a plea to the gods for a good harvest). القصة هي أن روح "Kitsune" إله الثعلب تنقل بين اثنين من المزارات بالقوارب والجهات الفاعلة كابوكي الرقص في حين تناجي مجدفين "Horanenya!" (نداء الى الآلهة لموسم حصاد جيد).

If you missed it don't worry you can catch it again in the year 2021… إذا كنت أخطأت لا تقلق يمكنك أن قبض عليه مرة أخرى في عام 2021...
