I kid you not, today I was excited to see that Europe’s largest brewery Heineken beer, as sold in over 170 countries, is now an offering cans of beer at Burger King in Japan.

If you look at the poster you will see the you can get a Whopper, Fries or Onion Rings and a can of Heineken all bundled up into a set meal… you can even see the catch phrase ” Perfect Match”. Damn straight it’s a perfect match and I hope it becomes a permanent fixture on the Burger King menu.

Sorry McDonald’s I now have a new favorite junk food shop.

  5. I would never have guessed that Heineken is so popular in Japan. What’s McDonald’s going to do about it, I wonder? ;-)

  6. That’s awesome. Even better would be if they served some Newcastle Brown Ale.

  7. That is pretty good. I think I saw something similar at a Denny’s by my old apartment in Kawasaki once. Then again, Denny’s in Japan is a slight step up from the greasy diner it is in the States.

Wait, that’s it! A Grand Slam breakfast with beer. After 11am, of course.
