I thought I would have been one of the last people in Tokyo to visit the 18 Meter Tall Gundam robot in Odaiba. Ik dacht dat ik zou een van de laatste mensen in Tokio geweest om de 18 meter hoge Gundam robot in Odaiba bezoeken. I was also hoping that choosing a work day to visit Gundam would also pay off with less people. Ik was ook de hoop dat het kiezen van een werk dag om Gundam bezoek zou ook lonend zijn met minder mensen. That was until I reached Shimbashi Station and walked over to the Yurikamome Line. Dat was totdat ik Shimbashi Station bereikt en liep naar de Yurikamome Line. Oh well I suffered the crowds and continued on to Diaba Station and found my way to the Gundam Robot. Ach leed ik de drukte en bleef op Diaba Station en vond mijn weg naar de Gundam robot.

Once at Gundam the crowds weren't that bad, only a 5 minute wait to get to touch the 59 foot tall Robot and pleanty of room to get any angle shot you want, however it was very hot without any shade so I didn't mess around, got my photos and headed back to the station. Eenmaal op Gundam de drukte waren niet zo slecht, op slechts 5 minuten wachten om naar de 59 voet hoge robot en pleanty kamer touch aan elke hoek te krijgen neergeschoten je wilt, maar het was erg warm zonder schaduw, zodat ik niet rotzooi rond, heb mijn foto's en terug naar het station geleid.

For those looking for directions to Gundam in Tokyo take the JR Yamanote line to Shimbashi Station then take the Yurikamome Line to Diaba Station, get of the train, head down the stairs and walk towards the park then turn left once your near the waters edge… or just follow the crowds. Voor mensen op zoek naar aanwijzingen voor Gundam in Tokio neemt de JR Yamanote lijn naar Shimbashi Station en neem vervolgens de Yurikamome Line naar Diaba Station, krijgen van de trein, hoofd naar beneden de trap af en loop naar het park vervolgens linksaf zodra je in de buurt van de waterkant ... of volg de menigte. I will probably head back down this weekend and get some more photos during and after sunset to get some more dramatic shots. Ik zal waarschijnlijk het hoofd naar beneden en dit weekend nog wat meer foto's tijdens en na zonsondergang nog wat meer dramatische shots te krijgen. For now here are the daytime photos.
