Well, at the end of a busy week I got around to messing around with the macbook. I created a website for a friend and published to the web. Pretty darn easy on the mac let me tell you. While the content wasn’t that flexible, i.e. placement, backgrounds etc… it did get the job done with minimum of fuss. I will source some 3rd party software and give them a test drive before I settle on an authoring tool. As time goes on with the mac I am becoming a big fan.
They have also released the ipod touch here and I tell you that they look very tempting as a useless toy, and almost irresistible as an all round mp3 player. Basically it’s an iPhone without the phone bit, which wont work in Japan with or without any clever hacks.

p.s. went to a irish bar in roppongi to see my beloved cats get up over the roo’s by an embarassing margin…….need to start planning for that big day in september \(^-^)/

So, what’s the point of the ipod touch, then? Why not just get an iPhone, or an iPod? I don’t get it.
Well, they dont have iphones in Japan yet… and the ipod cant read email, surf the web, tell me the weather, etc etc.. what dont you get?
