Finally my Tachyon XC Extreme Action video camera arrived….!
I purchased my Tachyon XC Helemt Cam with the view of recording some of the more extreme activities I engage in and my Xacti HD800 HD is a little too fragile and not exactly waterproof or shock proof…
Thanks to the guys at Tachyoninc I now possess the ability to share the fun… It will go from -20 to +50 C, to an eardrum bursting depth of 8 meters all while giving me 2 hours of 640X480 26 FPS video and countless photos with the 8GB SD I slapped in it… Rock!
This bad boy come with various mounting systems but the one I am interested in at the moment is the newly released Goggle mount for my recurring weekend trips Snowboarding over the Japan winter….. The two images below were taken from my iPhone from the bottom run at the Iwappara Ski Field…. stay tuned for a repeat visit with High Definition video post…
Unfortunately the fun police have decided to bring some bad weather to the Snow Fields in Nigata are this weekend so it’s off to Sayama Indoor Ski center to brush up on my Fakies , McTwists and Slay some Sick Rails….
Rad!

Next time you hit the town, just sport that cam full time. Have a live streaming feed to this blog. Hey, we should all do that to one blog and multiplex the individual screens.
