As we start to get into the swing of Cherry Blossom season here in Japan we are always treated with a nice showing of Plum Blossoms. Come si comincia ad entrare lo swing di Cherry Blossom stagione qui in Giappone ci sono trattati con una bella mostra di fiori di susina. The problem is that Plum Blossoms and Cherry Blossoms don’t flower across Japan at the same time so depending on where you are or where you are going you can sometimes be mistaken on what you are actually looking at, Plum or Cherry Blossoms. Il problema è che i fiori di susina e Cherry Blossoms non fiore in Giappone al tempo stesso modo a seconda di dove siete o dove siete voi che può talvolta essere confusi su quanto si sta effettivamente guardando, prugna o Cherry Blossoms.

The difference is pretty easy to spot once you know, and I have included a couple of image examples for your reference. La differenza è abbastanza facile da individuare, una volta sapete, e ho incluso un paio di esempi di immagine per il vostro riferimento.

Basically Japanese Plum Blossoms have 5 oval shaped petals while Japanese Cherry Blossoms have 5 round circle petals that generally have a split at the end. Fondamentalmente giapponese fiori di susina hanno 5 petali di forma ovale, mentre giapponese Cherry Blossoms hanno 5 petali cerchio tondo che generalmente hanno una frattura alla fine.

Another difference is the time of year you will see the two different types of blossoms. Un'altra differenza è il momento di anni vedrete i due diversi tipi di fiori. From Late February to late march you will see Plum Blossoms and from late March for 2 weeks only you will see Cherry Blossoms.
