Recently I have been creating and showing off some of my HDR images. Invariably I get the “How did you do that?” question. Rather than explain I found this great tutorial on YouTube that explains all the steps needed. In the tutorial they show 3 photos merged with touch-up’s in Photoshop. I like to take 5 to 9 photos with up to +/- 5EV and never use Photoshop to re-touch. Your results always vary with subject and shooting conditions. I dont know who took the original photo so I cannot give credit where it’s due. To take a photo like this would have to be the luckiest use of the shutter button which leads me to believe it maybe a single frame from a video recording, or the end result of some very skillfull Photoshop manipulation. Either way, it sure is a stunning photo
